Mount Tamborine is a well-known location among the South East Queensland community, a region sprinkled with wineries and boutiques, and scenery of particularly unique beauty.
I’ve visited Curtis Falls time and again, but suitable conditions are a rarity in this wilderness sanctuary. Whilst the falls and surrounding national park offer an endless array of picturesque views, photographing this region can be difficult.
I stood in the rain for hours, waiting for the lighting conditions to be perfect. Patience, as usual, paid off as a soft ray of light hits the falls. I snapped the shot, and within moments the long awaited beam of light was gone again.
