Bribie Island may be small in stature, but it is graced with elegant beauty along every curve of its pristine beaches. As I traverse the white sand lacing the coastline that hugs the western side of this Island, located near Bellara, Queensland, I come across a figure standing along the fringes of the beach, finely sculpted by gentle winds and the surrounding waters. I watch as this graceful figure of nature departed with its beloved sun with such stoic strength.
As I capture this exchange of nature, I marvel how this pillar of the sea will greet the rising sun with such statuesque elegance come morning. And I know it will continue to do so long after I leave this place.
