Renascentia, derived from the Latin language, means ‘rebirth’.

In January 2011 devastating floods tore through Queensland, dozens lost their lives and thousands lost their homes.

Despite the devastation, I couldn’t be more proud of Brisbane‘s ability to help one another throughout the tragic ordeal.

Approximately 12 months later, I took this photo to pay tribute to all those affected by the 2011 floods.
