This morning was full of surprises – This image included.
Taking such a long trip for sunrise requires persistence and dedication. I can visit the same location week after week only to come back empty handed each time.
Every once in a while, it’s a simple case of being at the right place at the right time. This picture is an example of this – a fateful meeting of lens with light, sand, and water. The soft glow this sunrise provided was simply wondrous.
In the distance, near the infamous ship wreck of S.S. Dicky you can make out a fellow online acquaintance with which I met this morning by pure chance.
